7.3.20 (special edition)

It’s another special edition week and this edition is all about Milton Glaser. Who is that you may ask? Even if you don’t know his name, I can guarantee you’ve seen his work. Milton Glaser passed away last week at the age of 91, but the impact he had on the graphic design industry was monumental.

“To many, Milton Glaser is the embodiment of American graphic design during the latter half of this century. His presence and impact on the profession internationally is formidable. Immensely creative and articulate, he is a modern renaissance man — one of a rare breed of intellectual designer-illustrators, who brings a depth of understanding and conceptual thinking, combined with a diverse richness of visual language, to his highly inventive and individualistic work.” — Excerpted from CSD, August/September, 1999 — "Milton Glaser: Always One Jump Ahead" by Patrick Argent
